ACTS Fleet is hiring experienced Medium & Heavy-Duty Diesel Technicians in Knoxville, TN—and we built this role for techs who know their craft and want long-term stability.

What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll service medium to heavy-duty commercial trucks and fleet vehicles, focusing on uptime, safety, and quality repairs—not rushed guesswork.
Day-to-Day Work Includes:
PM services on fleet trucks (DOT inspections, fluids, filters, brakes)
Diagnosing and repairing medium & heavy-duty diesel engines
Advanced computer diagnostics on late-model trucks
Brake systems, steering & suspension, driveline, and transmissions
Engine accessories, electrical systems, and emissions components
Verifying repairs through inspections and test drives
Using shop-provided hoists, hydraulic jacks, and modern tooling
Reading fault codes and diagnostic data to make accurate repairs the first time
What You Bring to the Shop
Solid hands-on experience as a diesel technician
Strong diagnostic skills (not just parts swapping)
Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket scan tools
Ability to work independently and follow repair procedures
CDL preferred, not required
