Job Title: Part-Time Service Assistant

Location: Knoxville, TN
Schedule: 20-30 hours per week, including every Saturday

We are a trusted alignment and auto repair shop known for providing honest, reliable service to our community. We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Assistant to support our front office and service team.
Position Overview:
The Service Assistant will play a key role in keeping our shop running smoothly by handling customer communication, coordinating workflow between customers and mechanics, and ensuring great service from start to finish.
Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls and assist with scheduling appointments
Greet and assist customers in person with professionalism and care
Delegate work orders and tasks to mechanics based on schedule and priority
Call customers with service updates and estimated completion times
Maintain accurate notes and records in our service system
Provide general administrative support to the service team
Work every Saturday and additional weekday shifts to reach 20 hours/week

Qualifications:

Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred (automotive experience a plus, but not required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude
Comfortable using basic computer systems and phones

Schedule & Pay:

Approximately 20-30 hours per week
Every Saturday required, plus weekday shifts (flexible scheduling available)
Pay Range: 15.00-18.00/ Hr
